Sliders are great for sharing with family and friends over the BBQ season. These mini burgers are succulent and tender. Made from the best British beef and a helping of British pork, to keep up the fat content to avoid drying out. Seasoned with black pepper and chilli for a subtle heat. Griddled then served in a toasted bun. The best thing about sliders is playing around with the toppings. From cheese to avocado, chutneys to relish there is something for all.
Makes 8 Burgers/Patties
Simply mix well together 400g of mince beef and 100g of mince pork. Along with 1tbsp of dried oregano, 1tsp of chilli flakes and a handful of breadcrumbs. Once mixed divide into eight equal sized burgers. Wrap in clingfilm and place in the fridge for around 30 minutes to firm up.
Heat a griddle pan or bbq until smoking hot. Place the patties on the griddle for 4-6 minutes a side.
Serve in toasted buns and your choice of toppings and sides.
