Perfect for treat time baking. The fact they only take 10 minutes to bake is a bonus. Lovely dark chocolate chips, with the cookies chewy sweet texture. A bursting pop of M&M's with each bite.
Makes 14-16 Cookies
Ingredients
165g M&M's Chocolate or Peanut
125g Unsalted Butter
100g Golden Caster Sugar
75g Light Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1/2tsp Vanilla Bean Paste
150g Plain Flour
1/2tsp Baking Powder
100g Milk/Dark Chocolate
Method
Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan. Place both sugars in a mixing bowl, then pour in the melted butter and beat well. Beat in the egg and vanilla bean paste. Sift in the flour, baking powder and salt and stir to combine. Chop the chocolate into small pieces and mix into the cookie dough.
Dot the mixture evenly onto 2 lined baking sheets. Push a small amount of M&M's into each cookie dough, then place in a preheated 180C oven for 10 minutes. Or until pale/golden brown.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely on the baking sheets.
