Hot and spicy marinated chicken drumsticks and thighs. The heat coming from smoked paprika, chilli flakes and hot sauce. With a sticky sweet honey glaze. This is a twist on American style chicken wings, which is perfect for summer BBQ's with friends.
Ingredients
800g of Chicken Drums/Thighs
2 Sprigs of Thyme
4tbsp Rapeseed Oil
2tbsp Heaped Smoked Paprika
2tbsp Chilli Flakes
2-4tbsp of Hot Sauce
Salt & Pepper
3tbsp of Honey
Method
To a large bowl. Add the chicken, spices, oil, hot sauce, thyme and honey. Mix well to coat all of the pieces of chicken. Cover with cling film and place in the fridge for 1-2 hours or over night if you can.
Heat a griddle/bbq until fiercely hot, place on the chicken pieces and sere the meat all the way round. Place in a 190C oven for 30-40 minutes until thoroughly cooked through.
