A simple milkshake recipe that uses good quality vanilla ice cream for a smooth silky finish. Horlicks adds a rich malty taste, which is often used in American diners. The addition of Malteasers adds a delicious chocolatey fix!
Makes a 500ml Milkshake
Ingredients
300g of good quality Vanilla Ice Cream 120g Malteasers 1tbsp Malt Powder (Horlicks) 300ml/400ml of Milk (depending on thickness)
Method
Simply place the Malteasers, malt powder and ice cream into a blender. Blitz until smooth adding a steady trickle of milk until you have reached the desired thickness.
Pour into a long glass or a milk bottle then top with a few left over Malteasers.
