Pomegranate Vodka

 

 

Makes 500ml/50cl

Ingredients

1 Large Pomegranate

100g Caster Sugar

500ml/50cl good quality Vodka

Method

Cut the pomegranate in half, beat with a wooden spoon until you have extracted all the little jewels.

Place the sugar into a 1 litre jar followed by the pomegranate jewels. Pour over the vodka and stir together. Seal the jar then place in a cool dark place for one month. Shake the jar every now and again when you remember.

Strain into sterilized bottles and store until you are ready to drink.
