Ingredients
250g Plain Flour
150ml Water
1tsp Dried Chilli (optional)
1tsp Dried Oregano (optional)
Pinch of Salt
Method
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl to form a rough dough. Knead for a few minutes, until the dough is smooth and is no longer sticky. Place into a bowl covered with a cloth for around half an hour, this will help the glutens in the dough relax.
Divide and shape the dough equally in rounds. Lightly flour a work surface and roll them to around 2mm/3mm thick.
Heat a dry pan until hot, place the tortilla in it and cook for 30 seconds a side. Place in a tea towel while you do the next one. This will keep the steam in and stop them drying out as they cool.
